I have used interlibrary loan with my library. I have to wait a few extra days, but they can get in any book they want.
Another friend of mine travels a lot, so she has library cards in several towns. She can check it out in one community and return it in another. Helps spread the love to some degree.

Our library uses Bibliomation for e-books and inter-library loan for DTB's. I still can't get books like Peyton Place. As far as registering in multiple libraries -that's a good idea, but around here you have to prove where you live to be able to get a card. Perhaps there is a charge for registering in another library?

I just finished 'Judge Dredd: Year Two' a collection of short stories about his early years. Now started 'Flowers for Algernon' Only few pages in so far I like it, seems like it will be good. Most things I read are Sci-Fi or graphic novels. (: I'm actually reading a few books. I get bored easily so I tend to have a good stack of books to read at night. Right now I am reading: -Torchwood: Another Life -Anne of Green Gables -The Alienist -Stargate: Rebellion -The Final Day Plus two other books, but I can't remember the names since they are rather boring.

I'm in the process of reading "IT" by Stephen King (the paperback version). I also have several books in e-book form on my new Kindle. One of them that I'm reading is "Hell House" by Richard Matheson.

Nothing.
I have a couple I keep meaning to start, but I'm stuck in the middle of one right now. Just not feeling it lately.

Nothing. I have a couple I keep meaning to start, but I'm stuck in the middle of one right now. Just not feeling it lately. I know the feeling. *sigh* That is usually when I pull out one of my 'comfort' reads, finish it and that usually gets me back on track with the new *meh* book.

I figure I will get back in the swing of reading more when I get settled into the new job in a few weeks. With so many other things to do, I have let reading slack and I just haven't made time for it to be enjoyable.

The Complete Calvin & Hobbes collection. I finished the first book (of four) last night. I love Calvin and Hobbes. I follow the Go Comics facebook page, and get one every day. Every now and then I will hit the random button and read for 10-20 minutes. Almost finished reading Flowers for Algernon I re-read that a few months ago. I read it in high school and thought it was brilliant back then... I had no idea how little I understood it back then. That actually put me onto re-reading books from high school (and earlier). I already re-read a lot of books. Right now I am on When The Tripods Came, by John Christopher - it actually isn't a re-read as it was written long after I read the first three books of the series.

I just started "Peyton Place" yesterday-what a fascinating and titillating book. Realistically I know that books like this have always existed but I'm still a bit shocked at the forthrightness of this book. I'm sorry it took me so many years to read this - frankly, I never wanted to read this, but something compelled me to do so this particular year (I'll bet that doesn't make sense to anyone does it?)

Working on a couple!
That one... Is intense. I can only take about a page or two before I have to set it down.
I am looking forward to the custodians by Dolores Cannon

I just finished Stephen Kings newest (written alone) and I think t was one of the most heart-pounding reads I have read in a long time. I don't think I have ever read a book that kept my stomach in knots for the first half like this before. And the first half really isn't even 'supernatural' horror like King mostly writes. Welll actually maybe it is, because how can someone be in two places at the exact same time. www.amazon.com/Outsider-Novel-Stephen-King-ebook/dp/B078M5G7XH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527249702&sr=8-1&keywords=tHE+OUTSIDER SPOILER ALERT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>THE NEXT LINE MAY SPOIL THE BOOK FOR YOU SO DON'T READ IT IF YOU MAY READ THE BOOK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>And they both have the same blood type (rare) fingerprints and DNA?

I literally just started reading "Bared to You" (yes, I know... I am absolutely late to the party 🙄) by Sylvia Day. So far, its pretty dry and not very captivating (the story-line, that is 😑). So I may jump ahead in the story and see if something peeks my interest. If anyone has read it and initially felt the same way, which chapter should I go ahead and jump to?
