I recently finished Stephen King's Pet Sematary, and now I'm onto 'Salem's Lot. It's very disjointed so far, randomly jumping back and forth between like eight different groups of characters, but, like all Stephen King books, I'm expecting the many threads to be woven together within a hundred pages of so. Many of SK's characters have no relation to one another. I just take him as I find him...entertaining.

I'm currently reading "Rebellious Aging: A Self-help Guide for the Old Hippie at Heart" by Margaret Nash because I'm at a crossroads right now. I'm only partway into it, but have highlighted so many passages that the book is almost pink, haha.

I'm in the very middle of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum link series. It's perfect for me because the very early books are very fast reads and I can do two a day. (and it doesn't hurt that I can use the laughs that these books give me, and the occasional scare, almost like horror books). I love the mysteries, sometimes I can figure them out sometimes not, how the character's stay constant -although some do complain that there is no character growth-I'm more complacent with this series, I don't want her to change, I love that the romance stays clean for this day and age and that Stephanie is like me -half Hungarian and half Italian, AND she's from Jersey!!! Then I can slow down and do some heavy thoughtful reading instead of potato chip reads. www.evanovich.com/plum-series/

No matter what I do I can no longer get the insert a link thing to work -nor can I put a comment under something that I've quoted-this has been going on for years. *grrrrr*

I have to go into the BBCode tab and click where I want my text to be. Hopefully it'll be fixed in v6.
