A book by Sean Slater called The Guilty about a bomber, murderer etc, not bad.

I finally finished the Harry Potter series. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of the Ilona Andrews team or her series (that just ended) but Harry Potter reminds me a lot of the protagonist, Kate Daniels. She too had this huge hero complex. Always was trying to put her life ahead of everyone else's. I vowed to read at least 10 books over 500 pages...this series sure helped me surpass my goal! I started hearing a lot about Ilona Andrews recently -- mostly because one of my author friends got some comments from them and it made her giddy -- but I looked them up and they look really good, so I'll probably get started... oh, who knows. My TBR is massive. But it's not at the bottom of the list. I just added Sawkill Girls to my list, because it recently came out and almost everyone I know is reading it for October or just because it looks good. It's really strange but really good so far. It's one of those books where so much has already happened and I realize I'm not even 25% done yet. The Ilona Andrews books start out a little clumsily and the team was always under pressure of their series ending before it could all play out. The first book is only 2.99 Magic Bites (Hint hint -I am your new evil supplier adding to your addiction!) I'll have to look into that series---is it young adult?

I love that you had to post the original song in case people didn't know the song and how it should go.

Just started reading JUDGES: The Avalanche. It builds off a stories in the 2000ad comic and goes into more details about how the Judges formed and came to take over from the police and the tension it brings that one person can have power of judge jury and executioner. Its made up of shorter stories and am four chapters into the first so far and its really good. I have read other novellas about Dredd and the world he is in, and works surprisingly well considering its from a comic and generally you don't get a lot of written things to this which is all writing .

Graph Theory, Combinatorics and Algorithms : Interdisciplinary Applications (2005, Hardcover). A book of exercises as it pertains to Combinatorics and the advanced algorithms therein. It is quite interesting. I have a masters in Mathematics, ... FYI... I do math for fun.. My son finds it funny when I talk about it. Call me insane. I am okay with it

I'm currently reading the James Herriot books. I read them as a teenager, but find them so much more hilarious and heart warming re-reading them as an adult!

I recently finished Stephen King's Pet Sematary, and now I'm onto 'Salem's Lot. It's very disjointed so far, randomly jumping back and forth between like eight different groups of characters, but, like all Stephen King books, I'm expecting the many threads to be woven together within a hundred pages of so.
