I'm unsure if this is intentional or not but when I view any ProBoards forums, there are often times when due to an advertisement I will be redirected to a sketchy site. Similar to the "You've won!" types that have many popups and make it near-impossible to go back because they prompt you with "Are you sure you want to leave?" until you can only close your browser. I can't be sure which advertisement it is, as the second the page loads I'll be redirected.
When on an iPhone, I've never experienced this. When on an android phone, however, this happens occasionally which is fairly annoying. I've had to switch to browsers that don't allow advertising because of it. So I'm just wondering is this intentional? I don't like the fact I'm being redirected sites that would otherwise probably infect something with some form of malware or another.
Thanks.
Edit: For clarification purposes this happens generally only when viewing from the mobile aspect, rather than desktop view.

Hi, Niomi. These types of ads violate our ad policies, so this is definitely not intentional on our part. This is the reason we've added a Report Ad link among the footer links on each of our forums that advertisements are visible on. However, we understand that in the case of redirects it's impossible to report the ad since returning to the page and successfully loading it means that the problematic ad is no longer the one on the page. For this reason our ad reporting system automatically detects any potential redirect ads when someone has loaded them and reports them to us without any action on their part. Any you've experienced as of recently should be among the automatic reports and will likely be removed from our service once reviewed.
