Forum URL: fosaz.proboards.comReally appreciate your great package, but overwhelmed by the vastness of the options. Would really like a simplified, step-by-step how to setup and find answers to these questions: 1. How to set a maximum and minimum page width? 2. How to set all of fonts larger? 3. How to scale the masthead image so it always fits? 4. How to insert a descriptive text below the "Home Help Search" line ? 5. How to eliminate the "Fosaz > Home > " line at the top of the page? 6. How to eliminate "News | Welcome to our new forum" ? 7. How to allow guests to post to selected topic categories without login? 8. How to correct the "No boards were found" message that I see? 9. How to close the "Forum Information & Statistics" module? (make it optional to view) 10. Can a forum moderator modify the text of posts? PS: Melody's video was very helpful, but I'm still confused.

Hi, fosaz . Your forum width is controlled by the Forum Width field in Themes > Colors & Theme Creator. If you want a minimum and maximum forum width you'll need to add new CSS to the style sheet to control that. You can access your theme's style sheet in Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet. In Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS changing the font size in Text Styles > Default Forum Text will change it in most places on the forum. This will also require additions to your theme's style sheet. This would need to be added directly into the HTML template. The layout template that contains the forum's header area can be found in Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper. This is known as the navigation tree, which contains breadcrumb links that allow you to navigate backwards on the forum. Hovering over the forum's title in the navigation tree also expands a menu that allows you to navigate to any of the forum's categories and boards from any page. The only way to disable it is to remove the HTML that produces it in the Forum Wrapper layout template. This is known as the news feed. It can be toggled in Settings > News Feed in the admin area. In Structure > Categories & Boards any boards with view, access, and posting permissions set to Everyone in the Permissions tab of their settings will allow unregistered guest participation. This is because the category doesn't have any boards in it. In Structure > Categories & Boards create a new board within that category, or click and drag existing boards to reorder them into that category. If you want the option to be able to click it to toggle it open and closed you'll need either a Javascript code or a plugin. You can outright disable it in the forum settings, but there's no built-in option to add a toggle feature. Yes, assuming you've given a group the power to do so in Members > Member Groups, they've been added to that group, and that particular group or user can moderate the board the post resides in.

The default column heads now appear thus: Board - Threads - Posts - Last Post and when one selects a "Board" the next column heads read: Subject - Created By - Replies - Views - Last Post How can I change the column title "Boards" to read "Topics"?
I'm a bit confused about the difference in board titles among "threads" vs "topics" vs "subjects" etc.

You can change the wording in Themes > Layout Templates > Board > Board List.
A category is a container for boards. A board is a container for threads. A thread is a container for posts.
When you posted here on ProBoards Support you created this thread. You specified a subject for this thread which is now reflected in the Subject column in the thread list when viewing the Support Board where your thread was created.
