redirection

I have a huge website. I am having to change the old Proboards URL from sailingtexas.proboards102.com/index.cgi to sailingtexas.proboards.com/

Is there any way to redirect the old address to the new address without having to change 17,000 links?

sailingtexas, use your censored word feature (Admin > Security > Censored Words) to replace the old URL with the new one.

Thanks. But how do I get to the 'security' tab? Is it from the profile?

You would get to it from the forum's admin area, accessed via the Admin button in the forum's menu.

Thank you very much, but it doesn't work. I put the URLs in the censored words boxes (I did add a period as suggestd). Any other suggestions on redirecting 17,000 links?

Are you unchecking the Exact Word checkbox? It won't work if it's checked.

I didn't check the exact word checkbox. I am putting in the full URL. http://..etc Should I just put in sailingtexas.proboards.com ?

I took a look at your censored word list. Is it working now?

No. I just get 'This page can’t be displayed' from all attempts at the sailingtexas.proboards102.com/index.cgi link.

sailingtexas, I looked at it again and in the replacement you had a "/" at the end of the URL. Since you didn't omit that from the old URL a second one was added to the URL and thus wouldn't work.

Actually, some pages still don't work, but others do. For instance sailingtexas.com/201601/scatalina25387.html
