Forum URL: tagsntutorials.freeforums.net/I am trying to find where I can increase the font size when members are posting. Everywhere else I was able to find where to change it but not when posting a post. Thank you kindly for your help. Betty

Hi, betty66. To change the font size of the posts themselves without affecting any other section of the forum you would need to make a new addition to the end of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet. Change the font size in red to your preferred font size.

Brian the font is still really tiny. I adjusted the size to 15 and still nothing as you can see below.

The thing to remember is what device is being used, on a pc it will look large, perhaps too large, but on a tablet or phone an acceptable size. Seemed to be a good compromise and just a matter of experimenting and what users are happy with.

betty66, To change the size of the text for the Preview Editor go to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS, Visual Editor, then Pages > Editors > Preview Editor > Text > Font Size. To change the size of the text for the BBCode Editor go to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS, Style Sheet, then scroll to the very bottom and on a new line add this code: .ui-wysiwyg .editors .bbcode-editor textarea { font-size: 14pt; } Adjust the 14pt to your desired size. Don't forget to save changes after each change.

elhombre if you look at the attached screenshot you would see it's the editor window. The code Brian supplied affects the finished post and not the editor text size. So changing the size as you suggested would not have made a difference in the wysiwyg editor windows.

Every time you post there are a bunch of different icons you can click on. Color, size, font, etc. I write my post then I scroll over it then I click the size, color etc. Very easy!

The user is aware there are buttons, however while you can see these 'live' changes in the Preview editor they do not render in the BBCode editor. Additionally some users like the editors to automatically default to a larger size without having to make font/text changes every time they post..
