Mobile version to be discontinued

Did I read somewhere that the mobile version is to be discontinued with V6?

Hi, vanwoman.

v6 uses a responsive theme, meaning that the desktop theme has the capability to function as both a desktop theme and a mobile theme at the same time. This eliminates the need for a completely separate mobile version of the forum since the desktop version does both.

Your mobile experience on ProBoards will still consist of a simpler view of the forum just like it did in v5.

I asked as I had made some changes to my current desktop theme, and members on the mobile version didn't see them!

vanwoman, fyi - currently there is a "desktop" link at the bottom of the page of the mobile version that users can click to switch to the desktop version of the forum.

Yes, I knew about the Desktop link thanks, and have told my members.
I just wondered when the mobile version was being retired.

vanwoman, in the v6 announcements it's been stated that once v6 is launched there would be an 18-month grace period where both v5 and v6 would run concurrently. Since v5 uses both a desktop and mobile version it is my understanding that the mobile version would be retired at the end of the grace period when v5 is retired.
