Wow, I guess I was away too long but glad to see that you went ahead and created a plugin for this. Can't wait to test it out! ... Thank you very much Todge !!!Update: Ok, so I tested the plugin and it seems to be working good. However before somebody hijacked my thread I wish they would have created another thread of their own because Todge basically designed the plugin to suit their needs rather than mine. Not to be a dink, but you know if I would have hijacked somebody else's thread on here the way that they did that I would have immediately been reprimanded by a mod and told to make a new post of my own for a plugin suggestion. Especially since Todge told me that it would more than likely be a while before he/she got around to developing the plugin. I was unaware that there was a certain time limit for allowing people to hijack your post?
I had something totally different in mind for the plugin. For starters I wanted it to work for everybody out of the box without people having to edit their profiles to get it working. Seems simple enough for the experienced forum users but a pain in the but for inexperienced proboards users. Secondly I would have made it so that only admin can create/add new custom labels in the plugin's management area and then admin could choose which boards to add the custom labels to in the plugin management area also. Boom, it's done! Much more simple eh? This way on post creation the user could have just clicked on a button to "add location" and a drop-down menu would appear for them to select a custom location and add it to their post.
This is what I was hoping for the plugin to achieve but beggars can't be choosy so I am grateful that Todge made a new labels plugin for the Proboards community anyways.

Slow down SafeInSanity.. On the first page MSG said they would await your decision as it was your request, you were also tagged for your opinion during the building of the plugin, but you never replied.. THAT's why I went ahead and created the plugin the way others had requested. If you still want the plugin you invisaged then I'll do my best to create it, but don't complain that others hijacked your thread when you weren't around to add your input.

(is there a time limit on a plugin request?) I'm a pretty active member here. The point is that as a moderator you shouldn't have allowed them to do that in my thread. I know this for a fact because I was reprimanded by another mod before for doing the same thing. They told me to create a new thread for my plugin request. Yes, I would like you to try and make the plugin the way I envisioned it because the one you made for them does not suit my needs.

I waited until September 3rd before making any post. Not checking back in, especially to inquire about a plugin you're requesting, in over a month is not something I'd consider as being "active". If you're going to request a plugin, you should, at least, bump it every few days - so a potential plugin author doesn't think you've lost interest. It's been over 3 months since your post in August. I would begin to think that you were no longer interested. Just my 2 cents.

Wow ... that is awesome Todge !!! Just what I wanted. You are a pro my friend! Was very easy to use also because I just went to craigslist for my state and then copied all of the cities and pasted them in to notepad to remove formatting. Then I just pasted them right in to the plugin's add "location" box. Thank you very much.
