private, the only way to do this is to manually bump the threads in to the order you wish them to be. Start with the thread you want last working backwards.

As an aside you can always turn auto-falling on for the board. The threads would then remain in the order they were posted.

There's a setting called Default to Falling found in the Settings tab of each of your boards in Structure > Categories & Boards. This makes it so that any new threads created in the board have falling enabled by default, preventing them from moving to the top of the board when new posts are made in them.

private, please note that while new posts will not change the position of the threads if the board is set to falling, any new threads added will appear at the top of the board and not at the bottom of the list of threads.

Only in older threads not already marked as falling. If you were to create a new thread falling would be enabled in that thread and new posts would not move it to the top of the list.

Hello Brian I think what's confusing the issue here is private has been interchanging the term post when she means thread. I do not want the current order of the existing posts <-- (I think she meant to say threads) being effected. Example: Theme nine underneath theme eight. What I'm *guessing* she wants to happen is for the new thread to take a place at the bottom of the the thread list. I don't think there's a way to make that happen automatically. Default to Falling will prevent a new post from affecting the order, but a new thread still gets placed at the top of the list, not the bottom. I think the only way to manage this is manually, but with a fairly easy process. Select all threads, then de-select the new thread at the top. Then take the Action: Moderate > Bump
