Shout Box

On my shout box in the top right hand corner you will seen an image that says "The Show 18" with the MLB Logo. Over the top of that image is the text "Welcome to the Show." How do I get rid of that text?

Hi, jonboycubs.

In Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS go into Shoutbox > Message Box and clear the background image from there. It should remove the image in question once you save your changes.

It is not the image I would like to remove. Before I put the image there there was text saying "Welcome to the Show." I put the image there but could not get rid of the text. It is hard to see but annoys, me at least...

In Settings > Forum Settings > Shoutbox replace the text in the Shoutbox Welcome Message field with this:

Thank you, however that removed the image also... Is there no way to keep the image?

The image shouldn't have disappeared unless you completely emptied out the Shoutbox Welcome Message field.

Typing   into it forces it to render a space and counts as a value since it's text.

Got it, thanks! I put the semicolon in there also...
