Forum URL: (private)
I have a user who has forgotten their password and the email they used is no longer in service.
It looks like there is no way to reset a password for a user or change their email address.
Am I missing something?
Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

Hi,
If the user has lost access to the email account then there is nothing further for us to do as we have no way to confirm the users identity outside of this.

Hi, If the user has lost access to the email account then there is nothing further for us to do as we have no way to confirm the users identity outside of this. So it has to be a new account? There is no way to get them their original account back? Thanks.

zhugeex, once the member makes a new account you can go in to their profile and edit the post count to the same number as in their original account to restore their ranking. Additionally while usernames are unique, display names are not, so the member could use the same display name on the new account. Hope this helps.
