Blocking users on tapatalk

Is there anything I need to do with our admin controls which would enable members using tapatalk to block users?

We have a member who has someone blocked which works ok on the website but not on tapatalk.

Hi

Checking the tapatalk support forum, it is suggested that if you click into the user's profile, and then click the [ ... ] menu expand, there should be an option to block/ignore there. However, from the replies, it doesn't seem to have a 100% hit rate, so try it, and post back if no luck.

I am not sure if the block from the forum settings should carry over to tapatalk app. Hopefully one of the reds will be able to let us know in that regard.

Thanks for the replies so far. My member has googled and found info about the three dots but doesn’t see these on his tapatalk UI and has read that it’s something the forum has to enable.

I saw that it required the forum to have the block feature, which ProBoards does.  Perhaps it is a setting needs enabled to transfer that setting over to the app.  The reds will be online from 16:00 GMT, and will be able to add further and hopefully resolve this for you

The admins don't work on the weekends, so they won't see this thread until Monday morning after 9 AM Pacific.

I wasn't even personally aware that Tapatalk had a block feature. As far as I'm aware they haven't notified us of any changes in their app that require an update to include this feature (though I'm not their main point of contact for our company).

I did some digging and the API feature they use to do it doesn't appear to be included on our end, suggesting we'd have to add it in at some point.
