Forum URL: areion.boards.netWhen I make replies as my characters, I use the Quote option so that I don't have to constantly copy the post template again and again. I make sure to remove the quote tags before submitting the reply.
However, it didn't calculate the few times I tried to finish a Quote reply and made some posts "Quotes" instead of just replies... I have to go back and delete the posts after copying the post template.
Only to have it tell me the first time I try to submit a reply that there aren't any messages in the box and that there needs to be one before I can submit the post. Thus having to paste again and then finally getting it through. It's a bit annoying, really...
Is this something my template's messing with or something ProBoards's messing with?

Hi, • Ambrose •. I'm having trouble understanding some parts of your post. Can you clarify the following? However, it didn't calculate the few times I tried to finish a Quote reply and made some posts "Quotes" instead of just replies... I have to go back and delete the posts after copying the post template. Only to have it tell me the first time I try to submit a reply that there aren't any messages in the box and that there needs to be one before I can submit the post. Thus having to paste again and then finally getting it through.

Sorry, Brian. I confused even myself with that.
Whenever I submit a quote, I submit it just as a reply instead, so I take out the quote tags. But when the post is submitted, it doesn't seem to accept that I took them out, and apparently puts them back in through submission, so the reply turns out as a quote.
As for submitting an actual reply, I would type in the post, submit, and then it goes back to an empty box saying "A Message Must Be Entered." Something like that.

Can you provide a link to a post you're quoting that exhibits this behavior?

I made multiple attempts to duplicate this in Firefox but was unable to reproduce either issue. I don't think this is being caused by anything on our end.

Alright. I will see if it happens again and if it does, I will take screenshots!
