I'm sorry, but there is really nothing that can be done. The forum belongs to the person who created it, and he chose to delete the content you are referring to. The forum can't just be "given" to you, either. The forum owner would need to come here to do an official transfer of ownership. You are welcome to start your own forum on the subject, however. You would just have to choose a different url.

As moonbeam stated, ONLY the forum owner can request a transfer to a new owner, PB Staff will NOT transfer it without this request.

If you can get the owner to register here and request an official transfer, then it can be done. Otherwise you can create a new forum with one of the other pb domains, like unknownstd.proboards.com/ for example.

The url has nothing to do with the content. You could call the forum iloveunicorns.pro boards.com and still have it be about the disease.

And no, you are not entitled to have that forum or its name. You may want it, but you don't truly *need* it. You are not owed it.

Try the same url using boards.net or proboards.com. Those are both ProBoards domains too.

It is not broken. It is his forum not yours. Only he can decide what he wants to do with it. The admins here are not just going to take it away from him because you whine about wanting the name. And another thing to note is that even if he deleted the entire forum (rather than just the content like he did), it does not free up the url for your use. It remains "taken", just in case the forum owner decides they want it back.

Frankly, even if the owner did come and request a transfer, I think the first thing I'd do is question whether they really wanted to, or if you bullied him into it. Because given the way you refuse to accept the answer is "no", I wouldn't be surprised to know he was pressured.

I'm not sure how many ways people can tell you that what you want is not something you can accomplish. Just start your own new forum. It's not that hard. You can make the name be very similar -- and then move on!

Similar is not the same.we run it for 5 years .all patient know that name .now we lost them .without many patient .we can do nothing

If you make the name similar, it will come up in a Google Search and your old members will find you.

Seriously though, two pages of posts about something that Proboards can't make happen for you? Turn your energy toward creating a new forum. None of your posts here are going to help your situation.

You are more than able to start from scratch & contact all former members & ask them to join.
Even if you could have the old forum/ url (which you cannot) there is nothing on it, so it would basically be the same amount of work to build up a user base on a new forum.
