Deleted forum

Hi support at proboards.

I have a question. Is it possible to restore a forum that is deleted even if I wasn’t the owner/admin? Because the owner deleted it there is a lot of information lost.

Unfortunately, the recovery process for a deleted forum can only be initiated by the forum owner.

To add to the above, if you have a way of contacting the forum owner, you could try that to see if they would be willing to restore the forum (if it's in a state that can be restored). Unfortunately, if you don't have any contact info for the forum owner, there's nothing the PB Admins can do to help - as they do not initiate contact for this type of matter.

If you can get in touch with the owner, perhaps they would be willing to restore the forum then transfer ownership to you. Again, this would have to be something you would have to be able to communicate to the owner themselves.

Unfortunately, to reiterate, only the forum owner can request the forum to be restored. If the owner left no contact information, then there's nothing the PB Admins can do for you. Sorry it's not better news.

And we contact a lab to study the virus,they still need that forum psot information andq register patient to cooperate with other lab

Sorry woooppp , this isn't a money issue. Proboards forums are free. But the control of whether the content being added by members is displayed or not is solely at the discretion of the person who created the forum.

keeponrolling, since there was no forum URL provided there is no way to determine whether the forum is recoverable or not, and so this whole discussion could be pointless.

On rare occasions we have considered forum-related requests from a non-admin ONLY if the forum clearly was a company forum and it could proven that the forum was not created for personal use, but by an employee of that company acting on behalf of that company.

The forum itself is not deleted. Only the thread. There's a big difference. While the forum could have possibly been brought back under the right circumstances, a deleted thread is not recoverable.

hi i am  back with low mood ,because my body is not well. my college all got  ill like me ,that is a new disease..we all patient get together to make that web known by big lab and gov,.that can make them believe what the world people suffer.
 we all 5 years work is delete by that admin.
we want it back everyday. it related to our life. and many family numbers life.
