Logo and Text messed up on Tapatalk

how do i correct the text and image?   i didn't think I did anything before ..  please advise

Hi, fbccommish.

Your forum's logo on Tapatalk is determined by the logo you specify in Settings > Forum Settings > Directory.

Based on what I'm seeing in the app you don't currently have a logo.

fbccommish, Can you link to an image externally instead of uploading one directly to the directory? Tapatalk requires an image that's at least 512x512 in order for it to show in their app. Icons uploaded directly to our directory get resized to 100x100 which is why your image isn't currently showing.

fbccommish, in Admin > Settings > Forum Settings, Directory tab you have more than one option for adding a forum thumbnail. You would choose the "Link your own image" option in the URL field that appears, enter the URL (link) to the image.

To use a linked image you can use an image host service (there's a list in our Help Guide article on External Resources) or you may upload an image to the Custom Theme Images section of your forum's theme and then use that link.

The image you're using is still smaller than the dimensions Scott specified.

Regardless, you should be able to customize the forum's appearance within the Tapatalk app itself now as long as you're logged into the main admin account.

I only have access to the Android version of the app, so depending on your device the method may be different than illustrated. If you open your forum within the app there should be a cog icon next to the title as shown below:



Clicking on it should lead to a page where you can change how the forum appears within Tapatalk:
