e.toHSL error in CSS

Hey folks, 

I've done some investigating online, and I've seen more than one thread where this was noted as a bug by devs in the past, and I'm wondering if it has returned? So I'm currently working on a test skin - like a shell of one where it helps simplify our admins' skin creations! Really it's just about making things easier to find and creating a shell where all we're doing is updating the color and images and then we're good to go. 

Now, granted, I have moved a lot around (this is currently on a skin that isn't public), but there are several variables and lines of code I haven't touched, because 
1) I'm not familiar enough 
2) a lot of it is meant for Proboards to make sense of our stuff. 

With that in mind, I'm receiving the following error and I've done everything I can to s t o p it, and I'm just about to pull my hair out: 

I've looked through all instances of transparency that could in any way affect this. I've even removed or commented out instances of the hsla/lighten/darken code and just made it all solid - because most of it didn't need transparency for what I was doing. Nothing has worked.

If there is anything you all know that could resolve this, I would be eternally grateful!

Hey Brian! Thanks for the reply.

The only actual change I made, was I was trying to simplify the @/variables like @buttons_background_color, etc. And by doing this, I took the variables that I wasn't later referencing in the sheet because of the changes, and I put them to the bottom of the sheet with @/empty; That is the only major thing I've really done. I did this mostly so the editor wouldn't yell at me, haha.

I'm unable to find what you're describing. Is this on a particular theme?

Yeah, as mentioned it's on a hidden theme, because it's on our tester site. The theme is JEN'S LABORATORY if you have that visibility lol. But currently it won't truly save my edits because of this pop up so I don't know if it'll show anything I've been trying to do.

Can you PM me the full contents of your style sheet that you're trying to save and it's rejecting?

I've narrowed this down to @content_area_text_color. For some reason it needs a value or else that error is produced.

I suspect it's due to either how the CSS for the Preview editor is generated or how the style sheet for the mobile version of the forum is saved. Once I assigned a hex color to that variable it saved just fine.

omggggggggggggggg i had the weirdest suspicion it was going to be something as simple as that *facepalm* goodness me. thank you so much! i know it probably wasn't easy to dig through all of that so i hope you know i appreciate it. <3
