I posted the following in Peer Support but I guess this is a better place for my questions? Sorry for the double threads, I have removed the others.

Any help would be appreciated. We have just moved to PBs and I am trying to edit as many features as I can but my knowledge of PBs is limited.

Is there a way to remove this from each forum and sub-forum page, while keeping the 'Forum Information & Statistics
' on the main board?



I found a thread from 2013 with instructions however I was sadly unable to follow its guidance on my Style Sheet.

In the first quote what is "this" referring to?

In Themes > Layout Templates > Thread > Post List the "User likes this" text is generated by the $[post.likes] variable. Move it to the location of your choice within the template.

Regarding the first question, I would like for the 'Board Information & Statistics' to not appear in every individual sub-forum, but I would like the similar information on the main board/home page (called Forum Information & Statistics) to remain. Sorry, I realise my earlier message is unclear.


Regarding my second question, I can find the area you are referring to, but I'm not sure exactly what I should move and where, to get the desired outcome? In Post List, have I to edit the coding itself?

For the likes text you would move the line that says $[post.likes] since that's what generates that text. Anything placed inside this element appears at the bottom of the post:

I hope you don't mind me asking another question in this thread. That is, how do I do a similar thing with the shoutbox?

I have got the code for it under the Theme Layout. Is there a similar coding (like for the statistics) I can add to get it just to stay on the main page?

The location of the shoutbox that comes with the forum is determined by the location of the $[shoutbox] variable in Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper.

Changing it to this will make it only show on the forum's index page:

{if $[route.name] == "home"}
$[shoutbox]
{/if}
