Tapatalk forum issue

I tried to add a brand new Proboards forum to Tapatalk. After talking to their tech support, they say I have to make a change in the directory settings in the admin panel to make it discoverable by Tapatalk. I can't find anything in the Admin section that allows me to edit the directory settings. Can someone please help me?

Hi, prepus76.

The ProBoards Directory synchronizes with Tapatalk's directory. You can submit your forum to the ProBoards Directory by navigating to Settings > Forum Settings > Directory in your admin area.

Something also worth noting: So long as you're logged into the main admin account within the app you should be able to change your title, description, and thumbnail directly within the app without having to go through the directory.

I'm set up as an admin on this url, and I couldn't find the directory section under Forum Settings

If you're not the forum creator you won't have access to the Directory section. Only the main admin of the forum has access to that page.

That's stupid. The main admin gave me the access specifically for this purpose.

Some critical powers are only available to the main admin of the forum regardless of group assignment. For example, only the main admin has the ability to delete the forum.

Is turning the forum's RSS feed on part of the board creator privileges

The forum's RSS feed is always on and is accessible via the RSS Feed link in the Forum Information & Statistics container at the bottom of the index page.

I have a forum, TheTriplePlay.proboards.com, that does not have the RSS Feed listed for it. All of my other forums have that link that you mentioned. This one does not. I assumed it was turned off in the settings but I can't find it.

This is due to the Guests Must Login setting being enabled on the forum.

Note that you can still access the RSS feed by visiting it directly while logged in, but outside of your browser session nothing else will be able to access the RSS feed's contents.
