Https? aka security certificate?

Is there any Security certificate available so the Not Secure will not show as a prefix to the forum url?

Hi, angiem2.

HTTPS is currently only available on Forums.net. However, the login pages of the forum utilize HTTPS.

Secure pages throughout the forum will be introduced at a later date.

Thanks, I'll explore Forums.net Is it part of your proboards and what would it take for a forum to move to it, content and all?
I just am trying to explore what is out there.

And do you have a rough guess as when Secure pages will be introduced?

Forums.net offers most of the same features as ProBoards but is regarded as a completely different service targeted towards businesses rather than hobbyists. It's not possible to transfer a forum from ProBoards to Forums.net, so any forums created there would require you to start from scratch.

I though it was mentioned that https might be added along the introduction of V6? Or this was not the plan?

Anyways I hope it's still a top priority because Chrome is the most popular browser and they will soon start displaying the http [not secure] warning in a very noticeable red color for emphasis.

This of course will make most (if not all) free proboards admins loose at least some members and/or potential new members because they will perceive our sites as potentially dangerous to use.

I can't provide an estimate for v6 so I'm unable to provide an estimate for the features that come with it.
