To save me repeating it here, please refer to my post SECURITY WARNING of 20.8.2018 under the Forum Rules and Admin Issues of the Down At The Mac Fansite.

I have only encountered this threat (over the past few months) when browsing the Talk Of The Town section of that Fansite....nowhere else on that site, and on no other site I visit. It is an entirely random event....I'm not a regular user of the site, and I don't always encounter the intrusion. The last time it cropped up, I was simply reading the comments section of a thread. Over 700 views have been logged on my Post (above), yet no-one has confirmed encountering a similar problem.

Any relevant info/advice would be much appreciated....thanks.

Hi, delaval.

This was likely a series of scripts from an advertisement that loaded on the page. However, looking through the scripts you linked I don't see anything malicious so it's entirely possible it's a false positive.
