Great plug-in, thank you very much! One question where do I change the word 'track 1' for something different of my choosing? Is it possible to put small images instead of the word?
Also is it possible for it to work on boards not just the main page?

Hello sol9999You're welcome and thank you for the nice comment about this plugin. Maybe at a later date, I'll consider the option where one can change those 'track' titles to their liking. As for inserting images instead of 'words', sorry as it will stay the way it is. Yes it's possible to work on 'boards' and likewise as stated above, will consider this also at a later date.

support.proboards.com/thread/661291/bugIn the screenshot shown in the thread above the CSS contained within this plugin appears to be centering any <ul> tags on the page indiscriminately. I would recommend updating it to only center the one used in the plugin's HTML by targeting its class rather than the tag name.

What a great plugin!!!!
On my Forum your Sound Player is located above my News Feed. Is there a setting that would place the Sound Player below the Shoutbox?
Thanking you in advance for your reply,
Jamie

Oh Boy Do I Need Help!! I’m not sure if this is the proper place to ask for help or not but I will start here. Here is my member only Forum. jamie-macguffin.freeforums.net/I have been trying to have a sound on the Forum whenever a member shouts in the Shoutbox. I installed the Shoutbox Sound v2 v2.0.2 By Pebble www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/188This was working well. However, I was looking for a way to store sounds within the Forum. I then found and installed the Audio Sound Player v1.0.0 Beta By army83 www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/1917This worked very well. I was able to store mp3 files on the Forum and link them to the player. Up to this point everything was fine. Army83's Audio Sound Player was being installed above my News Feed. My Shoutbox was at the bottom of my Forum. I was looking for a way to move the Audio Sound Player below my Shoutbox. Not knowing how to move the Audio Sound Player down, I decided to see if I could move the Shoutbox up. I found this Thread support.proboards.com/thread/517744/move-shoutbox-top-main-pageThere is this post there by Brian Ordonez. Jul 8, 2014 at 4:30pm Post by Brian Ordonez on Jul 8, 2014 at 4:30pm Hi, jrijr. Go to Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper in your admin area. On this page, find this line: $[shoutbox] Copy it, remove it, then find the line that says $[header] and paste it on a new line below that line. Then surround the $[shoutbox] line with these bits in green: {if $[route.name] == "home"} $[shoutbox] {/if} I followed these directions and the Shoutbox did indeed move to the top of the Forum. However, this is when my problem began. Neither of the sound players worked anymore. I restored the original Forum Wrapper code and the Shoutbox returned back to the bottom of the page. Still the players failed to function. I uninstalled both of the players. I then reinstalled Army83's Audio Sound Player. The player still didn’t function. I have no idea of how to find the issue preventing what once worked to now something that doesn’t work. Will someone please help me. Thanks, Jamie

When the SNL character of Emily Litella would realize that she didn’t know what she was talking about she would say “Never Mind”.
Well, Jamie now says “Never Mind” regarding the sound not working. His problem is not with either of the plugins. His problem is with his computer. After a reboot of the computer everything started working again. I assume that there must be an issue with my sound card or something.
However, I would appreciate help with moving the plugin below the Shoutbox at the bottom of the page. Here was my earlier post.
What a great plugin!!!!

Hello jamiemacguffin, Thank you for the nice words about the Audio Sound Player plugin. This plugin was written to load in the Main / Global headers and if I were to change it to load at the bottom, then the entire plugin would have to be re-written to accomplish what you are asking for. Having said, this plugin will remain as it is.

Changes have been made and submitted to the Plugins Library for approval. p.s. sorry for the lateness as I had major surgery on 11 February 2020 and just now getting somewhat back to normal.

Excellent plugin. Would love it if you could make it so we could choose which board to have it display on rather than just the main page.
Thankyou.

What are some applications of this plugin for a forum, other than, say, background sounds after you log in or sound effects when you get a Notification?
Can this be a reward for a poster?
I guess what I'm asking is: I'm not sure how this is valuable in my forum. I'm sure it is, but I'm not seeing it yet. Probably lack of imagination on my part.

Hello caladriusThe only application to this plugin is for one to play background sounds. Notification sounds is not an option and this plugin was not created to be a reward for a poster sound affect. As to your comment " valuable in my forum", that would be your decision to use it.
