Forum URL: www.saversnetdeals.com/I like the proboards so much, but one thing the payment method is limited no other option than the credit card. Hope you can accept paypal please, please or do you have any paypal account? so I can send my payment directly, I don't have a credit card this time. I am always asking my friend to let him pay for my card because I am in china this time and china did not release credit card for expats here. I just have the debit card but its also supports Visa and master card. Hope you can change your payment policy like other leading website seller. hoping for the best, Thanks

Assuming ProBoards accepts debit cards, you can get a Walmart money card.

Hi Unfortunately, for historical reasons, ProBoards can not use Paypal, so that is unlikely to be an option in the future. The system should accept major debit cards. As long as it is backed by Mastercard or Visa, and is not pre-paid, it should work. I use my debit card when i make purchases on ProBoards, so i would recommend trying your debit card and hopefully it is successful

Does your debit card have the actual Visa or MasterCard logo on it? If so, you should be good to use that.

Sadly this is NOT the case. Most prepaid cards have Visa or MasterCard logo but PB stopped processing them a while back. Only debit cards tied to an actual bank account seems to work.

I have heard from people who have successfully used prepaid cards but I am completely unable to tell you which cards work or why/why not. We officially accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club.

Note: if you are able to get a PayPal debit card, this also works for PB's purposes as well as pulling your funds straight out of PayPal (: EDIT: Not to be confused with the PayPal credit card. You can sign up for a debit card that would work the same as a bank card and would not be considered a line of credit, with no fees.

I have heard from people who have successfully used prepaid cards but I am completely unable to tell you which cards work or why/why not. I’m 99.998% certain it’s the address registration that makes the difference. An unregistered prepaid card will return a null value for the address, which of course won’t match the billing address entered when making the purchase. A card will need to let you register a full address to pass the verification check for whichever payment processor PB uses. Some cards (like Vanilla) only allow you to register the zip code, which is fine for paying at the pump or in a store that requires minimal verification, but it won’t work here. Prepaid Visa cards issued by US Bank allow you to register a full address and should work just fine. Double note: the PayPal debit cards are only available to legal US residents with verifiable US addresses. Unfortunately, the OP won’t be able to obtain such a card since they’ve indicated they currently reside in China.

I have tried using a few different brands, one, being the most widely used and it does not work. I can pay anything else on the planet with it (including when I travel overseas), just not PB stuff. I actually asked them about it and there is some they agreed it should work anywhere including PB.
They said some of the prepaid cards, even tho they are prepaid, have accounts that offer actual bank accounts with it as well. This might be why some get through.

Does your debit card have the actual Visa or MasterCard logo on it? If so, you should be good to use that. I tried my debit cards, two debit cards and its not working on proboards, it said debit card is not allowed, something like that" and it has VISA And master card, I tried it with other online shopping and accepted, but proboards don't.

My boyfriend uses a debit card, but his has the Visa logo on it. Echoing statements above, it is also tied to his bank account, so that may be a factor as well - as his works for purchasing ProBoards items.

I wish PB would come up with a much less complicated method of payment, if easier method was created for all to use I'm sure they would receive more money, just not from me.

I agree. If PB accepted Paypal I'd sign up and donate like a shot.

Hi,
I know this has come up before but I'm happy to reiterate. Paypal refuses to work with us. At one point a long time ago we accepted Paypal. One day, Paypal banned our account and held it under investigation (with all of the funds still in the account). We're still not sure exactly why Paypal took this step but all successive attempts to open a new account or speak to someone at Paypal about opening a new account has been met with silence or generic rejection.
Paypal is obviously welcome to reject our business, we'll likely never know exactly why they've decided to do so.
With that said, we're open to investigating other payment methods!
