How do you feel alone...

While I enjoy being alone, I also enjoy getting out to be with people; even if it is just to sit and chat somewhere.

When I am alone, it does make focusing on things relating to the house or the computer much easier to think things through. If I require people to help out those items, then I am ok with it. For example, if I am working on decorating the yard for activities and I already know what I want up and where to put it, then I am willing to deal with the craziness of having people there to work with.

I feel alone because after 17 years of marriage my husband started cheating 3 different women and took our son on some of the dates and told him not to tell me because it would upset me. The best thing is the girl he ended up with treats him the way he treated me . I guess there is karma but that doesn’t make my son feel better his family broke up

I've been living alone for a long time and am fine with it. Sure, it can get lonely soemtimes but most of the time I feel perfectly fine with it and the advantages of it for me outweigh the disadvantages

I live alone as well, but with three cats for company, I never really feel alone.

I agree that the advantages of living alone far outweigh the disadvantages. I enjoy it very much and only have to answer to the kitties who rule the roost, LOL.

 Ahhh yes, to be alone once again would be bliss how I miss it so. I am one girl who loves peace of mind, one is never really alone unless they want to be there's always ppl around you you just have to invite them in and when you're sick of them kick them out. lol

I love with my dad right now, he's as quiet as a mouse than man. lol
Very peaceful, I spend most of my time in my room with my fluffmuffin because he gets lonely and I don't want him to feel that way, feeling left out.

So I lay on the bed with him and watch movies. 

My dads house is really really old and there's always bids trying to get into the roof of the house, my cat just watches all this happen, it's all different for him because when I got him I was living in an apartment/condo so it's a huge noise difference compared to sounds. Ppl are noisy but houses make natural settling sounds. So, it's the sounds he has to get used to.
Me too though, I think the more I feel settled he does as well.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't let your mind fool you god knows what it will lead to next, you don't wanna be there. Instead think of it as bliss or tranquility, or peace of mind.
It could be worse!
If you hate being alone get a roommate.

When I was younger, all I wanted was to be left alone. I could and would sit for hours on my forum in otherwise complete isolation. Now that I'm older and I have my children and husband, isolation brings anxiety. Probably from the adage "silence is golden, unless you have toddlers, then silence is suspicious".

I'm lucky to never be alone, since I live with my family.
But, on occasions I am alone it at first feels freeing but slowly becomes more empty and gloomy.

I feel OK a lot of the time just hanging out by myself. There does come a time where I feel like I need human contact so I’ve kept myself in community groups to aid with that.

I'm very comfortable being alone.  I like my own company and am never bored.  I'm alone most days while hubby and son are at work [my three daughters have flown the nest now].  I also work alone in my job, later on in the day.  Don't get me wrong, it's lovely when my daughters come over and hubby and son get in from work, but I'm very happy doing my own thing for hours on end in between
