I like the idea of Ken to participate by strength. Having grown up with a younger sister who could kick the crap out of me makes me believe it could be done easily. However, I like the idea I read best about making all sports coed. This would lessen that impact, but it would also allow everyone to compete and learn what some of the nuances are for dealing with others different from you. Plus, sports might cost less for schools if you didn't have to match the same numbers of girls and boys teams.

I'm trying to imagine high school co-ed teams that would be fair to both sexes that are relying on sports scholarships. I'm sure there would have to be requirements that you had to have an even number (where possible) participating in the sport at all times if you had enough interest. It would be tough to legislate and enforce, but I would rather see that. As for sports scholarships, maybe schools need less of those. Let the NFL, MLB, etc. pay them and the colleges stay out of the sports arena in terms of giving students scholarships.
