Trouble uploading images to thread

Hello,

I have an issue all day 5/22 where i can not upload images to my thread. This is strange because on 5/21 i was able to. The insert image button does not work for me. I do see the alt url name I give does show up. I have looked for the answer myself prior to coming to the support board as to not bother anyone but I have not be able to find the solution. I understand  you guys switch from http to https while I don't know how that completely work the urls I received from Imgur have started with https and I even tried grabbing them directly from google and nothing. I was trying to go the attachment route but I do not see the button for attachments anymore. I don't if that's normal or I might have done something wrong? Just for fun I tried to upload an image to this post due to the insert image actually lighting up something I have not seen it do before. That was also unsuccessful. I would greatly appreciate any help I get with this matter and thank you in advance!

Edit: When responding to your post the add attachment button is available and has allowed to me post an image which I then copy and pasted over to my thread and that worked. My question still is the same however because I do not have an add attachment button in the thread and I still can't insert files.

I see from the example you tried to post above that you entered a webpage [ that is the page the image is displayed on on imgur ] into the img tags, and not the link to the image. You will need the direct link to the image.
