Forum URL: (private) As the admin person for our discussion group, is there any way for me to change the default font and font size which people use when they type their messages? I am viewing this on my tablet, and the default font for the messages is really tiny for me. I'd like to change if if I can, because I don't want people to have to change the font size each time.
(... and it's odd, for this post, while I was typing, it seemed like the font suddenly switched to a larger size without me doing anything - but that was only for when I was creating my post - it didn't change it when I looked at the actual post?)
Best, D.

Hi,
Instead of forcing a larger text on the forum have you tried using the zoom feature in your browser/tablet? This can make text bigger for easier reading.

That is an option I'll explore, but I still want to know if what I'm thinking about will work.
Thanks ....

freedda, is it just the text when you create a post, once it's created, or the whole forum that you want to see larger?

Hey Scott. I'd like to see if I can change the default font size for the entire forum, not just for individual postings.
thanks.

freedda, you can do that by going to Admin > Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS, Visual Editor, then on that page go to Forum > Text Styles > Default Forum Text, Text Size. I would recommend start with small adjustments until you find the size you are comfortable with.

Tagging onto someone else's thread is against the rules of this board, but if you read this it answers your question. www.proboards.com/user-guide/posting/stylingIf you have any further queries, it is best to create your own thread
