Member Unable To View Or Reply To Messages

Hello there everyone. A member of my forum has recently ran into a bit of a snag in that he is unable to view or reply to messages.

this may be a silly question, but is the user 100% certain they are logged in?

What happens when they attempt to send a PM? do they get an error message? does the button disappear?

Is there any possibility they can register here and reply as opposed to you acting as the go between? there might be some things suggested that would be easier if they could be communicated directly.

Hello. As mentioned I cant seem to be able to view my messages whenever I'd click on the message section. And whenever I'd try to PM someone I'm also unable to.

It would be helpful to describe "can't" -- there are a variety of things that could theoretically mean so it would be super beneficial if you describe the exact steps you take & the results (aka steps to reproduce)

Something like:
- log in
- click messages
- receive error message "you do not have permission to view this area"

or whatever is true for your circumstances.

Well now! The messages seemed to have restored themselves. Could've been just a temporary glitch I guess but all the same, thanks guys.
