Forum URL: igc-vectren.freeforums.net/Trying to setup a new ProBoard for a new group. I created one years ago for a different group and that is still active. As I setup the new one, it keeps sending me to the former board which has nothing to do with the new one. I assume that is because of my same email address used for both.
No connection between the two other than myself as admin for both.
I believe it is working but bothered me seeng the former board popping up.
Thanks.

Hi Could i ask what you are doing to get to the forum. ie, are you typing in the link to the new forum in to your address bare, or are you going through a bookmark, for example?

Typing in on the ProBoards sit to make a board. It looks like I have made the board, but I'm not sure if they are connected in some way. Two totally separate boards.

jimdwest, since the time your first forum was created we implemented a Global Account system. This is basically a collection of your forums (or forum accounts) that are all tied to one email address. This is really a benefit as it allows members to switch between forums (or accounts) without having to log out and back in. Another benefit is with the Global Account there is only one password needed to access your accounts. You can read more about the Global Account system here: Understanding the v5 Global Account SystemIf you go directly to the forum you wish to log in to, you should not be presented with the other forum. Or conversely you can log in directly to www.proboards.com and you are taken to your Dashboard which displays all your accounts. From there you can just click on the account you wish to use.
