Good evening,
Apologies, I was going to email this request directly.
Essentially, I used the account for roleplaying communities and used my name on these accounts and used a character based on my name.
I want the all my posts on the forums i've used other than this one to be erased. Unfortunatley, the forums i have posted on have been abandoned.
The UK GDPR introduces a right for individuals to have personal data erased. The right to erasure is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’. Individuals can make a request for erasure verbally or in writing.
How do I go about this?
Many thanks

Many thanks So generally speaking, the right to be forgotten does not include RP posts as they are fictional and tend not to concern any personal data; PB made the decision long ago not to delete posts en masse unless they contained explicit personally identifiable content (which again, RP posts tend not to have). That said, you did use your real name which does complicate things. An admin will have to review this request during business hours, but what I expect would happen based on past threads is that rather than deleting the posts, they can delete the accounts in question — posts made from deleted accounts are scrubbed of any information tying the post to an individual user (the username is changed to "Deleted" as are any @ tags). If you only used your first name, you probably can no longer be identified if the account is deleted, and any specific posts that include any extra information could be removed individually as opposed to removing the entire post history. However, again, this is dependent on how much information you actually provided. I just wanted to levelset expectations — the right to be forgotten is pretty explicit about its requirements, and a name isn't inherently personally identifiable (eg John Smith), so a PB admin would have to work with you to see which posts contain information that does fall under the removal requirements. Just hang tight. PB business hours are Mon - Fri, 9am to 5pm pacific / -8gmt, and they'll work with you to review this request then. Good luck!
