Well I thought that solved it, it worked once, but I can't get in again! I cleared the cache the second time, but all it does is take me to the Google search results, and it's not there. Any thoughts? News: When I click on my URL at the beginning of this post is give me it links! But if I search for the URL through Google on Firefox or IE, it won't connect.

Ganguy, your forum is too new for it to be picked up by the major search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) and especially for it to show on page one of the search results. (This Help Guide article on Understanding SEO gives a more in-depth explanation on how search engines work.) While you are at the forum, I recommend bookmarking it in your browser.

Scott Thanks for the reply. I understand about SE0, what I'm trying to accomplish is a forum for a limited group of invited members. We don't much care if other people see it. If I copy the link, and send it to others, they are unable to open it, so at present the only member is me! I think what I'm doing wrong is fairly simple, I just don't know what it is. Thanks for considering this problem. Ganguy

Ganguy, if you wish to only have small select group of members you can invite them through the forum. While logged into your forum... 1. Go to Admin > Settings > Forum Settings, Login & Registration tab. 2. Under the Registration Settings section, click "yes" for Disable Registration 3. Once done, right below that line a new line appears "Send Invite Key Email" 4. Enter in the email address of a person you wish to have join the forum and click send. 5. Repeat for each person. These people will receive an email with a special link that takes them to your forum and allows them to register as a member. You can then decide whether or not to leave the forum's registration disabled or not, it won't effect those who are sent the email, but will affect anyone that comes across your forum and wished to join.
