I can make two guesses ...

The Cutter Incident in 1955 resulted in more than 200,000 children receiving a polio vaccine where the virus used in the vaccine was not successfully killed. This resulted in 40,000 kids getting polio. 200 children suffered various levels of paralysis. 10 died.

Because of this tragic mistake, some are of the mindset that all vaccines are harmful.

Well, I got my second shot of Pfizer this morning. My arm was bleeding a bit as I got the shot, but I had the one who administered it use my elastic fabric bandage. No symptoms so far.

I changed my vote to "Got the first of a two-shot program ... scheduled for the second."

Well it's tomorrow, but I'm so happy I already changed my vote

Thanks to the waiting list I'm on (for when people don't show up and they don't want the vaccine go to waste) I can have my first jab tomorrow (Pfizer)

I received a text, had 30min to make an appointment otherwise it would go to the next person and I would've lost my spot on the list.

That's exactly what happened to me!  A pharmacist heard me talking about waiting for the shot and why I was upset and took my name down and said they would call if they had an extra-they did and I got it!

I got my first shot done and am awaiting for the second shot to rollout.
In other words, my dad will get done before I will, my brother and I will hopefully get ours done at the sametime. 👍

From how I gather, my dad should be getting his done next month and my age range should be getting done in September some time. 🤷‍♀️
