Having the 4th option labeled as "dumb" should be edited out. It is an individual choice and should be respected whether you personally agree or not. You have a right to your opinion. I have a right to mine. Am I editorializing with my wording in the poll choice? Absolutely. The 'personal choice' argument is weak. If someone makes the 'personal choice' to have their pinky fingers amputated solely because they think they're unattractive and unnecessary, I respect their right to make that choice as well as my right to say they are being dumb. Vaccines are not mandatory nor should they be. Everyone has the right to choose. But intelligent choices are based on reason. With the exception of those who have allergies or medical conditions where the use of the Covid-19 vaccine is contraindicated, I can't think of any valid reason why someone would choose to not receive the vaccine, can you?(Irrational anti-vax fears are in my opinion, not a valid reason.)

People are worried about blood clots. There are other meds that can have the same side effect, birth control for example. Just saying...

It's interesting that people are afraid of an exceedingly rare reaction to a life-saving vaccine, and not the highly contagious disease that has killed over 3.75 million people and counting.

Well said however, I’m not comfortable mixing vaccines cause I know how some drug combinations can turn out really bad.

I'll be working in Malta again for a year, so getting the vaccine is a given for us to travel there.
A friend of mine said he wouldn't go if he had to have the vaccine. I asked him if he'd like to spend time on Safari in Africa? He said: sure!
I then gave him the list of vaccines to go there: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, anthrax and meningitis. He just stared at me, lol! Kinda makes the one vaccine for Covid seem pretty insignificant.

When it comes to a global pandemic, which offers a vaccine that will not only help you but help protect those around you and those you love, I agree it comes down to individual choice. That choice however, is between being a selfish arsehole and taking a jab in the arm. I've picked my side, and i'll be picking my side again in a few days time as I take my second dose.

Just got my second dose of Astra Zeneca today
In the UK 40 million have had first dose, of which 28 million fully vaccinated, i think there's about 53 million over 18's who will be eligible, and they are looking into giving vaccines to over 12's

More than 75% of your adult population has received their first dose. I think only 12 states in the US have reached the 70% level for the first dose..

I don't know our numbers by heart, but 16-17 yo will get their dose after everyone from 18 and up had their turn. Prob in Sept.
And they're in discussions to allow +12 yo to get a jab too.

Is Malta cool? *Off-topic question* It's funny because a lot of parents are against getting this one themselves although all their kids generally have to get endless immunizations for school.

Cool as in temperature? No, this time of year until October is insanely hot. Cool as in awesome? Yes and no. If you are a tourist it is pretty awesome with thousands of years of history, beautiful blue water, incredible architecture, great sight seeing and food but, once you live there for any period of time, an 18 mile long island in the Mediterranean gets very small, very crowded and is not so special anymore. That said, this will be our third year working there so, it can't be all bad. Lol

I had the second dose of SPUTNIK and just days afterwards, caught coronavirus for the second time... ! The vaccine has certainly made it a more manageable experience than the first, but it's still got a mean right hook. Obviously, it could always be worse and I'm grateful to be on the mend, or so it appears. Well done to everybody (that is able) to start or have completed the vaccine programme thus far.
