Forum URL: zauberies.freeforums.netMy forum's newest member tells me he keeps having the following message popping up every time he visits the forum: We value your privacyWe and our partners store and/or access information on a device, such as cookies and process personal data, such as unique identifiers and standard information sent by a device for personalized ads and content, ad and content measurement, and audience insights as well as to develop and improve products.
With your permission, we and our partners may use precise geolocation data and identification through device scanning. You may click to consent to our and our partners' processing as described above. Alternatively, you may click to refuse to consent or access more detailed information and change your preferences before consenting. Please note that some processing of your personal data may not require your consent, but you have a right to object to such processing. Your preferences will apply to a group of websites. You can change your preferences at any time by returning to this site or visit our privacy policy.
What's all this about and how do I stop it from popping up again. The only popup that should be on my forum is the welcome message I created to encourage people to join.

Hi If you are in Europe, it is a legal requirement to let your visitor know what information is being collected, and allow them to select the information they allow. This is what that popup is about, and they will see a similar notification on other websites they visit. Once they have agreed to what they want to make available and save, a cookie is set to remember their choices. If this cookie is removed or blocked, they will see the dialog box the next time they view the page. If they see it every time they visit the forum, do they perhaps have their browser set to clear cookies when they close their browser, or do they have any third party apps/extensions which may be interfering with it?

Not sure. I'll send them a PM and find out.
