Forum URL: petlossconnection.proboards.comHi, I'm having an odd issue that I haven't run into with any of my previous forums. When I switch to Desktop mode while viewing the board on my phone, the banner at the top is cut off. As far as I can tell, the banner should fit normally---it's not all that wide. Can someone take a look and let me know what's going on with it? Many thanks!

I don't think the issue is so much the width of the banner [ 800px ], but that you have it within a container set to 66% of the screen size. I use the split screen option on my laptop, so i have two browser windows side by side, and when i open your forum the banner does not wholly show. So the banner width combined with the 66% width is what is causing it to cut off. You could increase that width a little, or reduce the size of the banner if that is an option you are open to.
Another option, you could try adding this to the bottom of your stylesheet:
#banner { background-size: contain; }
That will resize the banner a little to fit the container.

Thanks, Craig. I'm really struggling with how to resize the banner so that the text alignment doesn't look wonky.
If I remove the text from my image altogether and allow my Proboards title to show instead, is there any way at all to control where the text is placed other than just "Left" "Right" and "Center"?
Thanks again.

Actually, I think I'm going to stick with what I have on there as a banner. I adjusted the lettering so that it is left-justified. Does it look bad the way it is aligned? To make that particular image work on the Desktop version (on a mobile device), I had to size it down considerably. The rest of the space around it is the background color. Really hard when you don't have a decent graphics program.
