Forum URL: theotherfrenchforum.freeforums.net/It often happens that a single post in a multi-post thread contains something that you might like to refer to again in the future, eg a useful website, a method for shelling eggs, the difference between bees, wasps, and hornets. Is there a means of saving just those individual posts in a single place? On another type of forum, such a thing is possible using an option called Bookmark, but obviously that term wouldn't work here.

You can use your browser's bookmark/favorites feature to bookmark a link to the specific post by clicking on that cog menu to get the link
Edit: It just occurred to me that selected text can be dragged and drop so you could drag the highlighted URL to your bookmarks bar for quick bookmarking The only gripe I would have with this feature is the lack of an actual link that you could drag to your bookmarks bar for example or right click to perform other actions: <script> /* Add actual links to the Link to Post dialogue - (Install: Global Header) */ (function(){ $(document).on('dialogopen', '#copy-link-container', function(event){ [$('#thread-post-link',this), post = $('#post-link',this)].forEach(function($input,i,a){ let link = $input.parent().prev(); let thread = pb.item('thread',pb.item('post', +$input.val().match(/\/post\/(\d+)/)[1]).thread_id) link.html(link.html().replace(/Link/,function(){ return '<a href="'+ $input.val() +'" class="norewrite bookmark-link" title="'+ pb.text.escape_html(thread.subject) +'"><span class="hide" style="font-size:1px;letter-spacing:-1;">'+ thread.subject +' </span></a>'; })).css({"margin-top": i== 1?'1em':'inherit'}) .next().css({"margin-bottom":i==1?'1em':'inherit'}) }) $(this).dialog('option', 'height', 'auto'); $(this).dialog('option', 'position', 'static') }) $('head').append("<style>.bookmark-link{font-size:1px; letter-spacing:-1;}.bookmark-link:after{content:'Link'; font-size:1rem;letter-spacing:normal; font-weight:700;}</style>") })(); </script>

So browser bookmarking is the only solution, then? That's still something that didn't occur to me, so thanks for that, Chris .
ETA: Yep, that works.

ffs, while you can bookmark a thread within the forum, bookmarking an individual post is not possible. So I've label this as a feature request.

Shared (cloud storage) bookmarks across all your devices is a thing now in all major browsers is what I was getting at
Edit:A couple advantages of using your browser as your bookmark repository rather than PB's built-in bookmarking: - The ability to organize into subset folders that make more sense to you rather than wasting time looking through an unorganized/unsorted jumble of links (we were told user-defined labels would eventually be added [just like in PMs] but that never came to fruition)
- The ability to rename bookmarks rather than accept a poorly chosen thread title or a title not reflecting the unrelated discussion in the thread that caused you to save that particular link in the first place
