For the last day or so myself and others are getting frequent “we value your privacy” box appear about access of information to a device. The same thing is happening on whichever browser I use, even after selection of my preference and saving. It’s nothing to do with browser settings as this isn’t happening on other websites or forums I visit.

Hi,
It sounds like the cookie that is set in the browser (that remembers your preference) is not being saved. Clearing your cookies for the forum in question should hopefully bring up the popup (once again) and allow you to actually save and then the message should not reappear until the cookie is cleared or removed.

Deleted all cookies, made no difference I’m afraid.

Do you see a cookie saved in your browser after you set/save your preferences from the privacy popup?

Do you see a cookie saved in your browser after you set/save your preferences from the privacy popup? I don’t think there’s any way to display that on an IOS device. It’s basically “clear all” or nothing.

Not that I’ve blocked or am aware of. It’s not happening on any other site I visit and I’ve tried it on both Safari and Chrome.

Can you take a screen shot? Taking a screen shot would help Michael LOTS in helping solve this problem.

Is there any update on this as we have more users coming forward with the same issue?

1. Press Settings on the Home screen. 2. Scroll down to Safari 3. Scroll down to Advanced 4. Press Website Data 5. Press Edit 6. Press the red circle with the minus sign next to the cookie you want to delete 7. Press Delete

Press Delete I’m no longer getting the prompt on Chrome but even after following the instructions here, it’s still happening on Safari. I’m waiting on responses from the other people who had the same issue to see if there is any change for them.

dig2010, if you go into your phone Settings and then Safari > Content Blockers - is there anything listed? Also under Settings > Safari, scroll down to the Privacy & Security section and is the Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and Block All Cookies enabled or disabled?

Also under Settings > Safari, scroll down to the Privacy & Security section and is the Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and Block All Cookies enabled or disabled? I have no “content blockers” anywhere in Safari settings, so I’m guessing I don’t have any. If that’s like an ad-blocker extension or similar, then I haven’t installed any. For the second part, “Prevent Cross-site Tracking” is enabled. “Block all Cookies” is not enabled.
