Using Tapatalk

Hello,
Some members want to use Tapatalk to access the forum instead of using the browser on their phone.  I have set the forum up so that new users require an invitation to control access just to members of our group.  Tapatalk help page says Proboards is set up for Tapatalk but when I go to load the forum into the directory I get told that I can't as the forum is private.

Is there a way to keep access to log on and view forum content private to members only while using Tapatalk?  It would be OK to have the forum come up in searches on Tapatalk as long as that took non-members to the login page only.

Hi

Your forum needs to be on the ProBoards directory for it to show up on tapatalk. You can add it to the directory via the forum settings in your administration area.

Admin > Settings > Forum Settings > Directory

If you have any problems, let us know.

Ah, sorry. Yes, it needs to be open. As a way around that, would you be against people being able to see the homepage, but without being able to see any of the threads and posts when not logged in? You can hide the categories and boards to non-members.

That would work.  What setting do I need to change on the Login & Registration page to make the forum open?
And then I make all categories hidden but set them so they can be seen by all members and staff?
