Forum URL: chattergories2.proboards.com/I’m trying to help out an admin by adding images for her. I’ve added the images,(smileys) to the default theme and they show in the acp..but NOT in the toolbar or drop down menu..I’m baffled..also there are major issues with blue images,,,as per the screen shot attached.. Any ideas?

shire, When clicking on the smiley button, I do see the images that you added to the theme. In your screenshot, the blue "image not found" is coming from the Spoiler Tags plugin. Wherever you see that blue 'image not found' that means the image hosted at the postimage is no longer there or the image link is incorrect.

shire , thanks for the additional screenshots as they helped me see the issue. If you create a thread, the added smiles should show when you click the Insert Smiley button. However they will not show in the toolbar in the Quick Reply. The reason the custom added smiles do not show in the quick reply is that they rely on the shoutbox to be enabled. Basically all you need to do is enable the shoutbox. This post explains more about this: link. If you don't want the shoutbox available for members, then no problem, in the shoutbox layout template you would need to change the very first line of code from this: <div class="$[shoutbox_class] container full"> to this: <div class="$[shoutbox_class] container full" style="display:none;"> Do this for each theme and you'll be all set.
