Forum URL: bigballofyarn.proboards.comIs there any way of knowing what happened within the last 10 hours? Please see the attached image. I believe this happened once before and you were unable to determine the referral or origin. If that is still the case, no problem.

bigballofyarn, based on what data we have it looks like bots, most likely indexing.

As long as it is nothing sinister, that works for me.
Thanks for your help.

I don't think that shows me guest IP addresses from time periods when I wasn't online. Or does it? I also don't think I could manually check 248,000 guests haha.
Too bad the area for "X guests within 24 hours" isn't clickable like the # of guests who are currently viewing the forum.
Can I request that as a feature, or would that violate a guest's privacy?

bigballofyarn - I'll mark this as a feature request.

bigballofyarn , based on what data we have it looks like bots, most likely indexing. That is a lot of indexing though Are those numbers possible? Asking because it can be relevant to my own site.

lp19, it's possible, depending on the size of the forum and amount of available content.

lp19 , It's interesting considering the very limited amount of content that I have available to guests. If my forum were completely left open, I imagine that # could have been over a million the other night.

It has since continued to happen every night after I go to bed. This is not an emergency, but when you get a chance, please confirm that your previous answer is still accurate.

bigballofyarn - I agree, based on the new numbers something seems amiss. I'll ask our systems team to investigate.

lp19 , it's possible, depending on the size of the forum and amount of available content. Yeah, that's the part that's strange. For a year I have a dailynumber between 4 en 10000 pageviews. The content did not change and I do not have so many members to justify 750 k pageviews in a day. I don't know what is going on. All I see it is very concentrated over a certain timeslot. Like in 1 hour those numbers shoot up and then it stops again, back to normal. except with 750 000 forumrequests and pageviews.
