Forum URL: (private) (A big bear (570) ate my previous attempt at this post. It has not appeared, so I am reposting.) My forum is for a group of 400 people. How can I invite each of them to the forum? Entering their email addresses one-at-a-time is impractical.

zweibieren, since you have their email addresses, from your email you can send them all an email that includes a link to your forum and your personal invitation for them to join. (If going this route, I would recommend listing their emails in the BCC field as a privacy courtesy.)

If going with Scott's suggestion, I would also advise you turn on Restricted Registrations. That way, if this is a private group, you can cross reference the registration with the email you have on file and then deny the registration if the email isn't on your list. In your email invite to these folks, you should likely also include a comment to say they need to register with the same email as the one that received the invite.
