Global email notifications to resuscitate forum

I'd like to breath new life into my long standing forum. I think email notifications to participated threads would go a long way and be less intrusive than "you have new threads to view".

Right now it looks like no one is being sent any email notifications (at least I know I am not) Is there a way to make this happen?

I searched my board and see no way to do any of it and even my own profile to see if I could get any sort of email notifications

Hello.

If you go to Profile -> Edit Profile -> Notifications (tab), you can set forum and/or email notifications there. The checkboxes are for on-forum notifications while the dropdowns are for email notifications.

Due to privacy policies, each member needs to opt-in to receive email notifications in the same manner in which Kitty Katt outlined above.

Thanks I looked at my profile and it says I'm supposed to get weekly but I haven't had one in years. I went in an re submitted hoping a refresh was needed.
Hopefully it works

Is there a way to do it globally for all members?

As mentioned above, members will individually and personally have to opt in due to privacy laws.

I have update everything and refreshed my notifications and I am still getting zero emails from my forum of this one.
