The maximum number of attachments appears to be three.

I know I can circumvent this by partitioning the text of a post and issuing the text as separate segments, each segment containing three image attachments.

Is it possible to increase the maximum from three to, say, ten?

The limit of three does not restrict space requirements; a member will still be uploading text and as many as ten images, so there is no reduction in storage space, but there is a slight increase in processing time, especially if the member is as ham-fingered as am I (grin) and spends time and effort correcting the partition of the text.

Hi Chris,

By default the maximum amount of attachments per a post is 3. This can be increased by upgrading your attachment storage. The following tiers allow for additional files per post.

Copper - 5
Bronze - 8
Sliver - 12
Gold - 16
Platinum - 20
Diamond - 30
Obsidian - 40

If you use an image hosting service, you can link to the images which will embed them in the post and there is not a limit as with the attachment system. Granted, it's not as convenient as the attachment system, but it is an option. Our Help Guide article of External Resources has a list of forum-friendly image hosting services.

Yes. Attachment storage is upgraded through a paid monthly subscription.
