personal messaging issues

I have problems with personal messaging. I have sent out several to my members and not recieved a reply. I then went to another forum where my members ae also members of.(not a ProBoards forum).

My members replied that they did not get any messages in their Au-agnostic-atheists forum.

I do get messages from Proboards.

below are the Admin settings for what I think is messaging

Restricted PM Post Count Set to "0"
Members Restricted from Sending PMs Can PM Staff  No

I have not found anywhere else where personal messaging is mentioned

Is there somewhere else where PM can be activated or tweaked???

The members you sent a personal message directly have received them. And the automated personal message that is sent when a new user registers was received as well.

Thank you for your help getting to know how the program works is a challenge. There will be many features I could use but as yet do not need nor understand the wording or object. The? marks beside the items help but are very vague and do not really explain to a novice what they are about.
