Hi. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the folks who run the Oatcake (Stoke City) messageboard, please.

I had an old account that I deleted that I want to reactivate again, if possible.

Or if possible, I would like to sign up for a new account.

Registration has been disabled so I was wondering if anyone on this board could help me.

Hi there! Unfortunately we can't do anything with regards to your membership on a particular forum (PB doesn't interfere with individual forums unless the TOS is being violated) so you'd have to figure out who runs the forum in question for yourself. If the forum is [this one], it looks like they have a [support board] with guest posting enabled so you can reach the forum staff there. Bear in mind that they may or may not choose to allow you to rejoin them, and that decision — whatever it may be — is entirely theirs and PB won't interfere.

EDIT: my apologies, it looks like their support board is also closed to guests; unless you can find publicly posted contact information, you may be out of luck.

As a note though, if you deleted your account, that deletion is permanent and the account cannot be 'reactivated'. You'd have to register for a new account.

That forum has had registrations disabled for a long time. They used to disable registrations on game days only (according to them), but recent posts on ProBoards Support have indicated that they have been permanently closed for a long time.

britannia on Support might have some level of authority on that forum, but he hasn't posted here in over a year.

fatfred on Support is a member of that forum, but hasn't posted in over a year.

thestatusquo on Support is a member of that forum and has posted recently.

I only acquired this information by doing a search on ProBoards Support. I'm not necessarily indicating that it would be appropriate to contact these people. Please do not do anything that you feel would cross any lines or invade anyone's privacy. If you know these people, perhaps they can help you.
