Removing yourself from the forum before you are approved?

My question is this.
You sign up to a forum and they tell you that you have to wait to be approved by the admin
Weeks go by, and there is no word from the forum- but when I log in there, it tells me I'm still waiting approval

Is there a way that I can delete myself from the list of members needing approval because said forum is inactive?

Or will the system, after a certain amount of days auto reject a membership

A ProBoards Support admin can probably cancel the registration request for you.

How do I do that thing where members make the URL of the forum private

That's typically done when you create a new thread here in the Support Board (you get a popup box asking for forum URL with a checkbox to make it private). However, and please wait for a PB Admin to reply that it's okay, you may be able to PM it to a PB Admin if you don't want to post it. Support is currently closed for the holiday and the weekend, but one may pop in before they resume normal hours (9am to 5pm Pacific Time USA; -8 GMT) on Monday - so feel free to check back during the interim for a response.
