Okay this url returns a 302 for me: forum.retro-rides.org/threads/recent/224317Which is one of the url that is on the home page. The 302 Redirect Location is: /,/thread/224317/1985-phase-south-african-import?page=1#scrollTo=2773649 so the full url ends up being: forum.retro-rides.org/,/thread/224317/1985-phase-south-african-import?page=1#scrollTo=2773649 I suspect whatever is wrong that causes this response from the 302 is the same as the response redirect for people posting replies. It works fine in incognito mode, but not when I'm logged in, in incognito mode. Also when I logged in it tried to take me to forum.retro-rides.org/,https://forum.retro-rides.org post login Also once I get it once, even if I log out in incognito mode it keeps happening, even if I shut down the window and reopen. Scott This is now working correctly on the links on the home page.I'm really hoping that this is because you guys did something and we're one step closer to a solution.I did immediately go and check posting, but that was still showing the same behaviour.Scratch that... I forgot I did a "fix" on my current theme that I use as a test, which inserts the url for those posts in pieces rather than uses the $[board.last_thread.recent_link] element. Ignore me :/

*cough*
Any more thoughts? Seems very much to be the 302 Redirect causing the issues, and I'm not sure where that is being triggered from as that is a server based redirect.

hotwire - Would you try this please: Change your forum's URL default back to the original PB URL (Admin > Upgrades > Custom Domains), then log out, and log back back in using the original URL, and use the default PB theme. Let us know if you still are encountering the issue. (Once done testing, you can re-enable the custom domain as the default URL).

hotwire - thanks for testing. (Trying to figure out next step.) Can PM you my full DNS config, but I'm suspecting that isn't what's at play here as it is now doing this for proboards.com addresses too :/

hotwire - are you running your own image host? Yes indeed I do. Interestingly it didn't do the 302 on this forum when on my phone which I'm using now. Just on my desktop I was using earlier

hotwire - Everything seems to point to a browser extension or computer app that is injecting the URL with a comma. I know the issue has been experienced by other members on your forum. It could be possible that multiple members are using the same add-on and/or app causing the issue - we have encountered this before. The only other unique thing that stood out to me is that you are using your own image host, and I wonder if that somehow is playing a role in this? Since the images you recently posted here, based on the link, are from your host it could explain why you had the issue on this forum as well? This is just a thought.

I don't think it is the extension thought, although that was a good thought worth investigating. I use an extension less Firefox on my phone and it does it, same on my works laptop with Edge (also running no extensions). The image host thought is an interesting one, all I've done here is paste links though, which would seem to be a very odd way to cause a 302 redirect issue when posting (it did it on the post that the images were in rather than after it was posted). I suspect the cause of the issue appearing on here is related to changing my board to be retrorides.proboards.com and encountering the error. Then some networking/DNS/http/Apache (or whatever this all runs off) response cache type thing. I'll double check the image hosting stuff, but it is a fairly simple C# API sat on my own VPS, not doing anything fancy. Will check also the retro-rides.org hosting settings, just in case some how something is being picked up and messed with there. There is a 301 redirect on retro-rides.org to point at forum.retro-rides.org setup in IIS on that box, I'll double check that too, but it has been there for a long time and not changed. I'll also get a clean session running on one of my spare laptops and get Fiddler logs for it to see if anything odd is happening.

hotwire - if you want to PM me your DNS config info, that'd be fine too. I can have our sys team take a look for anything that stands out to them.
