Hi Could you provide a little more information please. Do you have a domain yet, have you looked at the custom domain page in your forum's administration area ( under the upgrades tab ), are you stuck at a particular part of the process? That added information will enable us to better help you Craig

Hi, thanks for answering! I didn't purchase a domain yet since my website is new and came with a free domain for starters. When performing the steps under "CNAME through Cloudflare" I receive this error message: An A, AAAA, or CNAME record with that host already exists. For more details, refer to <https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/manage-dns-records/troubleshooting/records-with-same-name/>. (Code: 81053) I want to embed my pbforum onto my webpage, something that I wanted to try out and get familiar with the limits of, before purchasing anything. Can you help?

0marie0 - You would not be able to embed your forum into the website. You can create a connection between the two and match designs so that it appears they are part of the same site. If you already have a domain name for your website, you could link a sub-domain to the forum. Example, if you have WEBSITE.COM for your website. You would then set up a sub-domain of FORUM.WEBSITE.COM and do what we call "custom domain linking" which is an official link (alias) of the forum's URL. On your website you could have a forum button or link that takes the user to your forum here; and on your forum here you would have a home button that takes the user back to the website. (Of course you can name the buttons anything you like.) Note: you don't have to setup the sub-domain if you don't want to. You can just create the links that drive the users to the forum and back. The purpose of using a sub-domain is so the URL in the browser's address bar reflects the same base domain name as the website. Also note: there is a cost with us to link a domain or sub-domain to the forum. This is an annual subscriptions, and not just one-time purchase. Hope this helps answer your questions. If you have more, please let me know.

Thank you Scott,
that answered some questions. Do visitors see the menu bar that includes "Admin" on top of the page? Is there any possibility to view how a visitor sees the pbforum page?
Thank you in advance

0marie0 - Visitors will not see the "Admin" button (neither will members). Nor will they have access to the admin panel. The best way to see what visitors see when visiting your forum is to log out. Looking at the forum when not logged in will show you exactly what they will see.
