johnnylee - actually the message you received asks for a better description, not that there was no description. I'm not sure what you had submitted, but generally a request for resubmission happens if one repeats the forum name in the description field. Think of it this way, when a user searches the directory the forum name is already part of the search key words. What additional information would help users find your forum. For example, let's say I have a forum dedicated to carbonated drinks. If I use the description: "This is a forum about carbonated drinks." - while this is accurate, it's a generic description with no keywords thus limiting the chance of it being discovered in a search. But instead if I say: "Love of carbonated or fizzy drinks known as cola, soda, pop, or seltzer." - this is a better description that uses good keywords for search and tells the user more about the forum. Don't think of the description as a tagline for the forum, but rather a concise explanation of the forum's purpose or genre. Like my first example, stating "this is a forum..." is unnecessary as the user knows they are searching for a forum, and it eats away at the 75 character limit. Hope this helps?

johnnylee - Go to Admin > Settings > Forum Settings, Directory tab. Select the category from the dropdown and enter the description in the Forum Description field.
